Zero mg

April 16th, 2006 Marie

Remember a while back when that psycho lady put my dad in jail? Well I don’t know why I never posted this, but months ago they droped the charges because they found out she was a liar. If she could only get what she deserves. He spent thousands on a lawyer and getting himself out of jail.

I spent Easter with my parents. It’s lonely having a small family. My Grandma and Aunt died. My brother and his wife are in Japan. We are not talking to my uncle and cousin and all of my mom’s family lives in NY. So it was pretty boring and quiet.

Guess what? Okay here’s the history again:

2 years ago = 100mg
1 year ago = 75mg
1 month ago = 50mg
1 week ago = 25mg
Now = 0mg!!!!!!

Yayyyy I am finally off of Doxepin. The first and second time I went down was really hard, but now it is really easy. This last one, down to 0, I am having a little trouble sleeping all through the night but I am happy to be off of it.

HAHAAHA My mom owes me a Coach purse. We made a bet and she lost.

Okay I must go. Andy is barking constantly at the thunder outside :)

Doughboy and Easter

April 15th, 2006 Marie

HAPPY EASTER

Do you love the Pillsbury Doughboy? I doubt it, but if you are a weirdo like my mom check out my auctions.

I can’t believe she is selling all her doughboy stuff. That isn’t even half of it on there. More to come.

Mall

April 14th, 2006 Marie

My mom and I planned on going to the zoo yesterday. We drove all the way there and were sitting in the parking lot because we got there 20 minutes before they opened. Then my mom brought up the idea of going to the big mall in Norfolk. Of course you know what I decided. We went to the mall instead. We are going to go back to the zoo sometime though.

I was drooling over the Coach purses.

Anyways I got a pair of flip flops and a new purse.

It’s a miracle

April 11th, 2006 Marie

I am going on 4 days on just 25mg of Doxepin and I feel just fine!!!! I am thinking maybe the crappy feeling I had for those 3 weeks could have been something to do with switching from Risperdal to Geodon. I am not sure though.

Sunday I got nails put on and my usual french manicure. Then yesterday (Monday) my mom called me and said she was getting her nails done. I was bored so I said I would meet her at the nail salon. She then asked me if I wanted to get a pedicure with her and of course I said sure. It makes me feel better to do stuff like that.

I keep going to bed at like 5-6pm. I take my meds at 2 and I am usually busy then but around 3 I get SOOOOOO drowsy. I was babysitting and it was torture just trying to keep my eyes open. I was watching 7 kids too so it was pretty busy. I got home and ate and fed Frenchie and went to bed. After that I don’t hear my phone ring at all. I wake up and I have all these missed calls and I never heard a thing. So then I usually wake up in the middle of the night because I went to be so early. Then I fall back asleep a few hours later. This has been happening for weeks and weeks. I hope to get everything straightened out soon.

Today I have an appointment with the cancer doctor (Oncologist). I have been seeing him for a few years because of my high white blood cell count.

Again? *sigh*

April 8th, 2006 Marie

Call me crazy (because that’s what I call myself), but I decided to go down another step on Doxepin.

2 years ago = 100mg
1 year ago = 75mg
1 month ago = 50mg
Now = 25mg

I started today and amazingly I feel just fine. I hope it stays this way, but it most likely will not. So if you are a reader of my site I apologize for the depressing posts I post lately. I am usually really happy but being bipolar I have my moments. Going down on medication is hard because you develop an addiction to it. For example do a search for “Paxil Withdrawal” and you will be educated on the withdrawal symptoms from psychiatric medication.

My dad gave me $50.00 to go shopping just to be nice. I went to Target and got a new make-up bag, hair dryer, some things for my hair and a new brush. I have been forcing myself to take a shower every day, get dressed, do my hair and put make-up on. It makes me feel a lot better.

Oh and something I was thinking earlier… I am an old lady magnet. Whenever I am out at Target, Rite Aid, Eckerd, etc… the old ladys ALWAYS talk to me. They go on and on and I am not the type of person to be like “okay nice taking to you, bye bye.” I sit there and talk to them for as long as it takes. Not that I mind. I just noticed it. This lady went on and on to me at Target about her cats in the pet section today.

Feeling better

April 4th, 2006 Marie

I got my hair cut yesterday, basically the same way as last time. It is soooooo much easier having short hair!!!! The only thing that sucks is flat ironing it. I needed a hair cut bad. My hair was looking rather crappy and I wasn’t even flat ironing it. I need to take better care of myself. Usually the only thing I do is shower, deodorant and brush teeth. I am going to start putting lotion and make up on and doing my hair. Most of the time I never do it because I never go anywhere, but now that I have a life I should start. New cam pic, btw.

I am back to normal after over 2 weeks of going through withdrawals from Doxepin. The whole time I was never depressed. I was just feeling like I had the flu BAD, even though I didn’t. In my last post I said I was getting a cold. I guess I wasn’t because the runny nose and sneezing went away. I think it was the pollen or something. It never affected me, but for the last few years it has.

I changed my first poopy diaper Monday, YUCK!!! I also thought I lost their new dog because I couldn’t find it anywhere, but she was just hiding. I watched 7 kids that day and believe me it was chaotic!!!! I was seriously about to go crazy and call Tara and tell her to get her butt home.

I bought a Schick Intuition razor today. I gave up on the epilator and the electric shaver. The epilator was too painful and took FOREVER to do your whole legs. With the electric shaver the hair grew back too fast. The Schick was pretty cool, but it is easy to miss spots so you have to be careful.

I am convinced Jiffy Lube messed up my car. Every morning when I start it so much smoke comes out of the exhaust and that NEVER happened until I got my oil changed there. The first time people just told me they may have spilled some oil, but it is still happening every day for about 5 minutes the first time I start my car. There is also something wrong with my horn. I figured that out when some dumb bitch pulled out in front of me today. My dad’s friend that fixed my car is a CROOK!!! My mom and I are going to get me a new one as soon as we settle down and stuff.

Yuck

April 3rd, 2006 Marie

I woke up like 2 hours ago with a cold :( I haven’t really been in the blogging mood lately. I haven’t even really been on my computer. I guess I have just been busy. I finally have a life… kind of.

I bought my cat a laser light and she loves it. I also noticed Andy loves it too. I took it over my mom’s and her dogs go crazy over it. I love her boys so much.

My parents tore two walls down in their house. They have a ton of work to do to fix everything. I will take pics of it later. Well, here is one. It’s not great quality because I used my sidekick. The area to the left was all a wall too.

Close call

April 1st, 2006 Marie

The people I baby sit for got a yorkie-poo!!! She is such a sweat heart!!!! Anyways I was watching 3 kids there yesterday. The two 5 year olds were playing outside. Well, I needed to take the doggy out to go potty. So I leave the 2 year old in there because she is really good and it is a safe area she is in. I was just outside and not far away at all. Well, Bella (the yorkie-poo) went potty and I was going in and….. Kaya (the 2 year old) LOCKED ME OUT!!!!

I was panicking and thinking OMG what if I don’t get in. So I was trying to tell her how to unlock the door and she didn’t understand. So then I notice there is a piece of cardboard where a glass pane should be. I pushed in the cardboard and reached my hand in and unlocked the door. I bet that was broken for the same reason :)

Man that would have SUCKED if I didn’t get in.

I have been keeping busy. I am up at 5am my usual time for the past week or so for some reason. Tonight I have to baby sit for Christy (5 month old and 4 year old). I wish the sun would come up so I can run to the store and take Frenchie out to go potty.
