Surgery class

I have to share this comment Trace made on another post:

I had the lap band 8-2-06. I am 10 days post surgery and have already lost 17 pounds. I never feel hungry, but the surgery hurt like hell!

Tonight is my fat people class for the surgery haha. I only have to go to one class though. It’s at the hospital from 6:00pm-7:30pm. So it hurts like hell? Damn that makes me scared, but I’m not ever going to change my mind. If I could have it done right now I would. I know it’s going to be worse than my last surgery, but I could have done anything after my last surgery. I felt like I didn’t even have surgery when I woke up after they put pain meds in my IV. After that I never felt pain again.

I am going to be the biggest stuck up skinny bitch there is haha. No, I probably won’t. I have never been that way even when I was skinny.

I am doing good with staying away from this drama. Considering all the hate mail he sends me and giving out my myspace password. You can call me whatever you want… it doesn’t bother me. I guess it’s because I don’t even like him.

Drama

So my friend Jayme said that Andy has been saying shit behind my back. He was hitting on Jayme’s roommate that is a piece of TRASH. Jayme’s roommate said “why do you want me and Marie we are totally different.” You got that right. She looks like a boy, lives in a trailer, has two kids and is just pure trash. Andy begins to say something about my weight. I just found this out and he hasn’t been online since but I messaged him.

Marie (8/10/2006 12:37:07 AM): so i’m a lot bigger than you thought i was? jayme said she told you how much i weighed. so youre just sticking around because i’m having that surgery? you like to hit on all of jaymes friends? you like low class trash? fuck you and don’t ever talk to me again!

Marie (8/10/2006 7:26:54 AM): Big fucking mistake ruining things with me. I am the best girl you will ever find. I may not be skinny now, but when I am skinny and hot I will be too good for an asshole like you. I don’t cheat on my boyfriends, I don’t have baggage, I don’t have kids, I’m not psycho, I’m not trashy, I have a job and I clean my house. Plus I don’t live in a nasty trailer. So if you care about looks that much maybe you should think about how ugly the chicks you are trying to fuck are.

Seriously I am not going to take shit from ANY man. There is too many of them to settle for less.

Emily and I are going to Japan to visit my brother for a week durring Christmas!!!!! It’s going to be sooooooooooo much fun.

Title here

I decided I am going to let my hair grow out. Every guys says “I like your hair better long.” I kind of miss it being long too. Right now it’s driving me crazy cause I don’t have time to straighten it every day.

I took my mom to the airport yesterday and at the same time I picked Christy and her kids up at the airport. My mom let us use her truck since Christy had a bunch of luggage. Of course when Christy got in and it was time to get the truck and load everything in, it started pouring.

My friend Jayme isn’t staying with me. This girl said that she could stay with her rent free if she watches her kids. I am kind of happy about that. Jayme has a new boyfriend and I have been hangin out with her boyfriends roommate a lot. I don’t know what we are. More than friends but not boyfriend and girlfriend… yet. I like him, but he has a lot of baggage, such as baby mamma drama. I don’t exactly trust that he wouldn’t cheat on me either.

With that whole situation there’s already drama going on. That he said she said shit. I’ll try to keep out of it.

Grandpa

Forget about my weekend. I decided I shouldn’t blog about it.

So like 2 hours ago I get this knock at the door. I open it and it’s the police. I am thinking oh shit what did I do. They said “Are you Marie?” I said “yeah.” They said that I need to call my uncle there’s been a family emergency. I told them I don’t have his number and they called on their radio and got it. I call my uncle and he says my Grandpa may die and he can’t get ahold of my mom. That’s because she is on a flight on her way home from Cali. So my mom is going to freak out when she finds out. Her and him are really close. I don’t know him all that well. Looks like she may get home from Cali only to have to go to Buffalo, NY to see him.

Trust me my weekend wasn’t that wild that I thought the police were here to get me

I am sick of the title line… I’m going to make a hack to get rid of it

Jayme will be here soon. Let’s just pray she doesn’t get on my nerves. People can get on my nerves very easily. Emily seemed shocked when she found out I am letting her stay with me. Emily and I have tried it before and she is my best friend in the whole wide world, but I still get irritated with her. Watch soon I am going to be saying I kicked her ass out. That’s why I live alone and I always have other than living with a man. Men don’t get on my nerves… I get on their nerves haha. Well, yeah they do cause Chris let his best friend Kris stay with us and we had a two bedroom apartment and stuff and I still kicked his ass out. So let’s just say if I’m not fucking you then you can’t stay here. She better not be a “cock block” either

I just put my new home number on the Do Not Call List like 2 weeks ago. I am still getting tons of calls, but I think they are allowed to call since the people that used to have this number did business with some of them, such as Chase Bank. All I know is it’s getting really annoying and it seems to be getting worse and not better. I called that one place that kept calling at 8am today and they acted like they didn’t know what I was talking about. At first she said that they didn’t even have my number. Then she asked who they were calling for. I’m like look lady I don’t know, all I know is I get a message to call this number back every morning at 8am. Then she said I was removed and to give it 48 hours.

I am sorry I have nothing interesting to blog about. I could blog about dick, but I bet you guys are getting sick of hearing about my sex life. Not that I really have one anyways. Just sleeping with one person and I think he may be mad at me or something. I have no clue. Right now I really don’t care. Yeah, I like him a lot, but I am not going to wait for anyone.

Hi

My friend Jayme is coming to stay with me for a little while. She lives in Kentucky right now with her boyfriend. Well they are breaking up so she is coming back home. He is in the Army that’s why she moved there. She will be here early Saturday morning.

Every morning at like 8am I get a freaking call from this telemarketing place leaving recorded message for me to call them back. Today I am going to call them back and bitch them out. That’s what I hate about getting new phone numbers. People call constantly for the people who used to have this number.

I have been so lazy busy lately that my apartment is a mess. I think I need to go start cleaning it right now.
* Does anyone know why “strike” will not validate as xhtml? I thought that was correct. I know it’s not “s” anymrore. I don’t feel like googling it.*

My mom is leaving to go to California tomorrow. My brother and Esther will be there. Christy is also in Cali Everyone left me here.

Lap band surgery

I hope when I have this surgery I don’t lose any weight in my boobs. Then I can get a boob job for free!!!! Wow that’s a lot of surgery. Now that I know surgery doesn’t mean death I am not scared. After my last one I felt perfectly fine other than a few very small complications. I know this one will be harder on me but totally worth it.

The Operation:

The idea behind the operation is to create a small pouch in the upper part of the stomach with a controlled and adjustable stoma, without stapling, thus limiting food intake.

A gastric band device is introduced through tiny (1cm) incisions in the abdomen and is placed around the upper part of the stomach. The resulting pouch (or the “new stomach”) dramatically reduces the functional capacity of the stomach. The band has a balloon from the inside that is adjustable and can reduce stoma size, thus prolonging the period of fullness.

The operation is performed under general anesthesia and can last between 30 minutes and 1 hour. The Band is fitted around the uppermost part of the stomach, forming a 15cc small pouch. It is designed so that it can be inflated or deflated at any time after the operation. This helps the patient continually lose weight until they reach their goals. The restriction takes place in the radiology suite and normally takes 15 minutes. This simple procedure is painless they inject saline into a port placed under the skin in the wall of the stomach. The tube that comes off of the band leads to the port.

Advantages of gastric banding:

- No cutting of the stomach
- No stapling of the stomach
- Calibrated pouch and stoma size
- Can be adjusted to patient’s needs after surgery with no operation to adjust the stoma
- Laparoscopic removal possible
- Fully reversible
- Short hospital stay (does not exceed 48 hours)
